Do you need education in Norwegian language?

Education in Norwegian language

Gamvik municipality will offer evening lessons in Norwegian language once a week for 1 ½ - 2 hours.

The teaching will take place at Mehamn school, Gamvikveien 1 in Mehamn. If there are enough applicants from Gamvik, there will be established a group there as well.

The education is free for persons with rights and/or obligation to receive training in Norwegian language. These include people with a refugee background and their families, as well as family reunion of Norwegian and Nordic citizens.

Course fees and payment for course materials apply to persons who only have an obligation to attend training, but not the right to attend training. The same applies to persons who have neither the right nor the obligation to receive training. See further information: gamvik.kommune.no

Trenger du norskopplæring?

Voksenopplæringen i Gamvik kommune vil tilby kveldsundervisning i norsk en gang pr. uke á 1,5-2 timer.

Undervisningen vil finne sted på Mehamn skole, Gamvikveien 1 i Mehamn. Ved mange nok søkere vil det bli opprettet et tilbud på stedet Gamvik.

Opplæringen er gratis for personer med rett og/eller plikt til opplæring. Dette er blant annet personer med flyktningbakgrunn og deres familier, samt familiegjenforente til norske og nordiske borgere. 

Kursavgift og betaling for kursmateriell gjelder for personer som kun har plikt til opplæring, men ikke rett til opplæring. Det samme gjelder for personer som verken har rett eller plikt til opplæring. Se ytterligere informasjon: gamvik.kommune.no
